About a year and a half ago, I took a fall down 16 stairs with my newborn in my arms. In order to protect my baby I couldn't stop the fall and my spine took a beating. I left the injury untreated; and on and off, I would get really … More bad sciatic nerve pain from what I believed was a herniated disc. About 4 weeks ago, the nerve pain came back, but this time it was subsiding. It kept me up at night and the following morning while driving my kids to school my entire leg went numb, I couldn't tell if my foot was on the break or gas pedal. Scary! I quickly googled Walk-in chriopractor in Santa Rosa as I needed an emergency appointment that day, and I literally found Walk-in Chriopractic in Santa Rosa and got an appointment that afternoon. Google is awesome! When I met with Dr. Del Pape that afternoon, he was very professional and personable. He was very attentive, and I didn't feel like a patient on a conveyor belt. I was a hot mess my first adjustment and almost in tears, because I've never had anyone touch my lower back let alone palpate my spine since my fall because it was so sensitive. Every appointment following was more tolerable. Four weeks later, I feel like a new person! I regret not coming in sooner and that it had to take my leg going numb to even be seen.
